Welcome to University Studies!

The mission of the University Studies Program is to enhance and support the educational experiences of matriculated students who have a wide variety of interests and have either not yet declared a major or are in transition from one major to another.

Through classroom interaction, individual academic advising, and specially tailored programming, the University Studies Program ensures that students are given the opportunity to explore the many majors available to them before they choose their academic path.

If you would like to speak with an advisor, please call 302-831-4555 to schedule an appointment or visit the How to Obtain Advisement tab for more options.

Are you thinking about changing you major?

If you are a student in transition from one major to another, the UST Program can help. Each year, the University Studies Program serves as an academic home for students between majors. Whether you are now uncertain about which major to choose or simply need a place to seek advisement while filling pre-requisite courses before you can apply to your intended major, UST Advisors can support you through the major change process.  The UST program can provide you with information on how to explore new options, explain the change of major process for the majors that you are considering, and aid you in selecting the correct courses for the majors you are interested in exploring. If you would like to speak with an advisor, please call 302-831-4555 to schedule an appointment or visit the How to Obtain Advisement tab for more options.
