Advising as Teaching

UST uses an advising-as-teaching model by making advisors available in the office and in the classroom. Each spring, we offer a one-credit course, UNIV117: Exploring Your Academic Path, which combines self-exploration, academic resources, engaging discussions and activities to provide students with a greater understanding of the components that can contribute to their academic and professional success.
